Question:

My wife is having an affair and I want to know if it's worth the effort to address in divorce court.

I do not have any "professional" documentation or evidence of her affair other than her admissions to me and the fact she has moved out and is believed to be living with another man.

What advantages are there in proving her infidelity and affairs in a divorce case? Is it worth pursuing?

But Facebook and other social networking sites are not the cause of divorce, even though they are widely used to gain evidence. In fact, if Facebook plays a part in the demise of a marriage, it was probably on the rocks long before the spouses logged on to the computer.

Technology doesn’t make people engage in infidelity. People can do that on their own. But technology does help those people inclined to commit infidelity.

It’s not fair to blame Facebook or Internet dating sites because they are just the vehicle – not the driver.

What do you do when your happy matrimony suffers from infidelity? 

Victims of infidelity might suffer from physical, mental, emotional and financial stress. Your untainted marriage has now become irreversibly broken, leaving you to wonder about the third party. 

Where’s the retribution? 

In North Carolina, two attorneys had a 17-year friendship that ended in betrayal. The victim, Christi Stern, accused her friend of having an affair with her husband. 

According to Stern, the infidelity caused her stress that resulted in substantial damages. As retribution for these damages, she filed an alienation of affection lawsuit against her.

Question:

My wife's boyfriend has moved into the marital home with our children while we are still married.

Is there anything I can do legally to force this man to leave the house?

Also, do I have a right to go into our home while he is living there?

Question:

I am going to get a divorce because of my infidelity, which resulted in my girlfriend becoming pregnant.

How will this pregnancy with another woman affect my divorce? Are there paternity laws I should consider?
