divorce lawyer Daniel LambertQuestion:

I was recently promoted and will receive an increased salary. Since I pay child support to my ex-wife am I legally obligated to inform her or the court of my increased income?

I assume that would automatically result in a child support modification and an increase in my payments.

child custody reportBy Daniel L. Lambert

Cordell & Cordell Divorce Lawyer

In some states, a Pretrial Report for Child Custody Trial is required by the judge prior to beginning a child custody battle.

What is required in this report? Do you need to provide to each party all documents, evidence, emails, voice messages, or any other key evidentiary documents at the time of the report being due?

The answer to what and when you have to produce evidence will depend on your local rules, the pretrial order, and your state's child custody laws.

divorce lawyer Daniel LambertQuestion:

My children were recently ordered by the court to be placed on my health insurance provided to me through my employer.

I do not want my employer sending any information about my policies directly to my ex-wife. I'm fine with forwarding her only the necessary information.

How do I ensure my company does not send her any information?
