As always, please be sure to consult a licensed attorney in your state for more detailed information on how your state’s laws apply to you and your particular situation.
If you are a licensed attorney for any state in Canada, or know of a licensed attorney for this state, we would like to have you review and edit the information for this country. We will furnish you with the old content for your review. In return, we will credit you for editing the overview of divorce information for Canada by stating at the top of this page “Information reviewed and edited by: (Your Name)” and establish a link directing potential clients to your firm’s webpage. Typically, on this page you would find a brief legal overview of Canada’s divorce laws. The content usually contains the following list of information (where applicable per each state’s statutes):
The State Resource pages are provided for informational purposes only.
