Question:

Do I have to still pay for Daycare when my ex wife is at home all day and not working?  Is the same true when looking at paying for summer camp or do I have to pay for the 6 weeks of summer camp when she is at home not working?

Answer:

This depends on your state guidelines for child support.  Generally, the non-custodial parent may be required to contribute to daycare costs necessary for the custodial parent to work.  So if your ex is not working, then you should not be required to pay these kinds of costs.  Exceptions would be for camps that are enriching (like educational or sports camps) or daycare for young children or home-schooled children, where you both have agreed that daycare will help the child's socialization. If she's not employed outside the home, then her job is to raise the children.
