Natalie G. Bower has always been passionate about strong representation for men going through divorce who may be faced with difficult circumstances and an uphill battle in court.

"My role is to be the rational mind for a client in a crisis situation – to protect when the client is vulnerable, to fight for the client when he or she is weak and to advise when a client feels lost - working as a team, side-by-side, to obtain the best possible outcome," Ms. Bower said.

Practicing in family law means working directly with people and families in an arena that facilitates ongoing, direct communication with the client, which is something Ms. Bower enjoys.

Ms. Bower said diligence in preparation and perseverance in court are two key traits necessary in seeing matters through the process of courts. Accomplishing this in paternity matters is particularly rewarding for Ms. Bower.

"Obtaining a final custody order establishing a father's rights at the end of a paternity case drastically differs from the true legal rights of a putative father at the beginning of his case, which are extremely limited under Illinois law," she said.
