Speaking To The Judge
Question: My wife is pro-per, and is in a child custody matter with her ex-boyfriend, they were never married, but has two boys 6 and 11. My wife when in court and before the judge she doesn't argue her case. She says she feels intimidated by the judge. I am her husband and I am filling out her forms and writing her paper work. I am not a lawyer, but will I be able to speak along with her before the judge to confront false allegations by the ex-boyfriend?
Answer: Even though your wife does not have an attorney, she still has a right to call witnesses in her defense. She can call you to participate in her case.
