Question:

My temporary orders during my divorce force me to pay exorbitant child support costs along with my living expenses and the utility bills for the house she got to stay in.

These bills are almost bankrupting me and our divorce isn't even final! Am I obligated to keep paying these bills or can I modify temporary orders before they become final divorce orders and I'm left broke?

I'm looking for financial advice on divorce on the chances my alimony payments will be decreased based on my remarriage.

Since I am going to be financially responsible for another wife and more children, can I get an alimony modification?

Can my ex-wife take me back to court after our five-year non-modifiable alimony agreement ends in order to continue receiving spousal support?

If you have been the primary financial provider for your family, it is possible that you will have to make alimony payments.  

In many states, there is no hard and fast method of calculating alimony payments. And to be quite frank, estimating what a judge may do is often fruitless. 

Because the laws of many states allow so much judicial discretion in calculating alimony, the methods and manners for determining whether alimony is appropriate and/or how much alimony should be paid may vary from court to court.

Question:

I was denied alimony because the judge said I was an "able-bodied man capable of finding work." Keep in mind I put aside my career and was the primary caregiver for our children while my wife traveled for much of the time for work.

Shouldn't I be awarded at least temporary maintenance so I can go back to school in order to find employment at a liveable wage? Can I go back to court to have spousal support reconsidered?
