Man Cave WorldwideBy Matt Allen

Editor, DadsDivorce.com

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to grilling season, though if you’re like me you've had the grill cover off for at least a month.

One company is trying to capitalize on man's great love of grilling and beer, the aptly named Man Cave Worldwide, which directly sells meat and bar and grilling accessories to men through MEATings.

A home MEATing is like those Pampered Chef and Tupperware parties you hear about but for guys. And instead of Tupperware, there's meat. And beer.

The cold of winter keeps us away from the outdoor grill for the most part. When warmer weather hits, we all rush outdoors and immediately light up those grills. We all want to re-experience that beloved smoky and slightly singed taste that signals warmer weather has finally arrived.

But what if I told you that you could somewhat simulate that taste through a baking technique? You’d think I was crazy, wouldn’t you?

After some research, I discovered a method for baking chicken that can slightly simulate the flavor of grilled chicken.

I am consistently searching for easy and healthy recipes for both myself and the kids. Being able to feed my children with solid nutritional meals is extremely important to me as I want to teach them that good nutrition does not necessarily mean you have to sacrifice taste. Sure, a fast food meal comes our way once in a while, but again I try to teach them moderation.  Here are a few recipes that we enjoy, and I think you’ll be surprised at just how easy they are to make.

Sometimes it’s just nice to come home from a long day at work and find food warm and ready to eat.  That’s what is so amazing about using a crock-pot.  There is usually very little preparation time involved and you can leave it on while you go to bed or work and come back into the kitchen 8 to 10 hours later and find a meal warm and ready to be eaten.  And that’s not even mentioning anything about how great your home will smell as the beef bastes in it’s own juices!

If you’re anything like me, then time can be an issue especially when it comes to spending time in the kitchen. Another issue is making sure that you’re time in the kitchen isn’t wasted by creating something so unpalatable that even the dog won’t eat it.  Here are a few of my quick and easy recipes for chicken that even the kids will enjoy.
