Omaha Nebraska Divorce LawyerQuestion:

I must pay my ex-wife a portion of any bonuses received that are above my annual salary. I must also provide her with my tax filings.

Last year, there was an underpayment after my deductions were calculated so I paid her the difference in the amount owed. This year, there was an overpayment but she is refusing to reimburse the amount saying she is not required to repay, according to the divorce decree.

Can I take her to court to be reimbursed for the overpayment?

Noblesville Indiana Divorce LawyerQuestion:

I have three children and one was recently emancipated, but I am still paying the same amount of child support.

Does this mean I can claim overpayment or do I just eat the payments I already made?

divorce lawyer Daren NeelQuestion:

I am a victim of paternity fraud and would like to recoup my paid child support because of it.

My ex-wife recently informed me that I am not the son of our child who is now an adult and who I paid child support for after our divorce.

Is there any possibility of recouping that past paid child support from my ex-wife since she knew the child was not mine but accepted the support on his behalf?

New Jersey divorce lawyerQuestion:

Due to a change of custody, my child support order was modified to a much lower amount.

It was granted and supposed to go in effect a month retroactively, but the child support agency is still garnishing my wages at the original amount before it was modified.

How can I get the modified child support enforced, and is there a way to recoup the overpayment of support for this month?

Noblesville Indiana Divorce LawyerQuestion:

It has just come to my attention that I have overpaid my child support payments due to an incorrect wage garnishment of my military pay above the court-ordered amount.

I filed the request months ago to stop my military wage garnishments and was told they would stop. I later found out the person helping me at the child support division failed to file the necessary paperwork resulting in the overpayments.

How can I get this child support situation rectified and receive credit for the overpayments already made because of the child support office's error?
