divorce lawyer Alex DurstQuestion:

My ex-wife had me arrested on domestic violence charges that proved to be false and she committed perjury regarding the matter when we were in court.

I know perjury charges are rarely successful, but her blatant lies are ruining my life.

What steps do I need to take and whom can I seek assistance from to have a perjury charge filed against her?

New Jersey divorce lawyerQuestion:

My wife's divorce lawyer submitted a divorce settlement proposal to me that stated any information included in the proposal cannot be disclosed or used as evidence in future hearings should they be needed.

She made false claims in the proposal in an attempt to disgrace me and get me riled up.

Do I have to agree to this clause? What is the purpose of a non-disclosure clause in the marital settlement agreement?

Omaha Nebraska Divorce LawyerQuestion:

My child lives out of state and was recently removed from my ex-wife's home because of child abuse.

The Department of Children and Families in their state never bothered contacting me to tell me my child was placed in foster care. They finally did contact me but only to investigate a false allegation by my ex-wife that I hit our child.

I have a court-appointed attorney but the agency is not cooperating with the lawyer either. They are acting as if I do not exist and are not allowing me to prove myself as a fit parent capable of raising my child.

What can I do to get my child out of foster care and sent to live with me in another state?

Question:Colorado Divorce Attorney

My wife and I are being investigated by Child Protective Services because of a non-physical domestic violence incident that was blown wildly out of proportion.

We recently learned CPS is taking us to court forcing us to participate in their "services" or else we will lose our children.

Can my wife and kids legally move out of state during a CPS investigation without fear of the agency coming after our children?

domestic violenceLast week's DadsDivorce Live focused on the issue of domestic violence against men.

Cordell & Cordell mens divorce attorney Heather Biagi discussed with DadsDivorce.com editor Matt Allen the prevalence of claims of domestic violence used in divorce and child custody disputes.

In part two of the two-part series focusing on domestic violence against men, Biagi shares divorce tips for men on how they can preemptively defend themselves from false allegations of abuse.

She also discusses the ramifications, if any, levied against the accusing party if the allegations are indeed proved to be false.
