divorce lawyer Daniel ExnerQuestion:

My son is 18 years old and will be considered emancipated in a few months. My ex-wife allows him to live in her vacation home unsupervised and it has led to a lot of problems, e.g. a DUI, property destruction, etc.

Even though he is 18 and legally an adult, since he is not considered emancipated can I force him to honor our parenting time schedule and have him live with me the majority of the time as the decree states in order to keep him out of trouble?

Noblesville Indiana Divorce LawyerQuestion:

My current parenting time court order identifies the exact location where our custody exchanges are to occur.

My child's mother now tells me she is moving the location closer to her house since she does not drive, but I do not agree to this move and want us to continue following the court order.

She says that if I want to exercise my parenting time then I need to meet her at the new location.

Can she change the location from what was ordered by the court?

grandparents rightsQuestion:

My ex-wife has legal custody and physical custody of our children and I have scheduled visitation. Due to long-term neglect on her behalf, I am filing to modify child custody.

However, her parents have been talking to my kids about living with them permanently instead of their mom.

Can my wife, since she currently has legal custody, let my kids live with their grandparents without my permission?
