Question: My ex-wife and I have joint custody and equal placement. For the past 2.5 years she has made it difficult for me to communicate with the girls when they are with her.

She refuses to communicate with me about the girls. The problem I have is to maintain a record of my attempts to communicate, I write her letters. In her very few responses she says that my letters and phone calls are bordering harassment and intimidation.

My concern is how do address this prior to her trying to turn this into a case?

Question:

We have joint custody and the mom is paying child support to me. So shouldn’t be responsible for all, or at least half, of the child’s daycare/afterschool care?

Question: I am the primary custodian of my 13-year-old son. He wants to stay with me full time because his mother takes her anger out on him because she's mad at me.

She also threatens him that her stepfather will spank him. Could I get full custody based on his age and the other issues she takes out on him?

Question: I currently pay child support and 100% of daycare expenses for our two children. My ex-wife and I have joint custody. Over Christmas break when there was no school, my ex-wife claimed that I had to pay for our son while he went to daycare. I was under the assumption that I am only responsible for his after-school and summer daycare expenses, not school days off. Mind you the majority of the days that he will have off, fall under her days.

Am I obligated to pay this? Also, she has had an increase in income and makes roughly $600 more than me per month. Would it be wise of me to take her back to court to get daycare expenses split?

Question: My wife has been cheating on me. When I found out I confronted her and she told me all about the affair. I don’t have any physical evidence though.

We have a 3 year old and I want joint custody with me as the primary caregiver. What should I do to try and get the custody that I want?
